Mechanics of Motivation

Overview

Mechanics of Motivation examines the causes of motivation and makes the link that employee’s motivation is affected, to a great extent, by their manager.  The workshop features real life case studies and real life examples from their own work experience to frame the conversation about how a manager can better motivate direct reports in terms of: what they say, how they say it and how it is interpreted. We look at how to say “no” to one’s employees, yet keep them motivated in the process. These workshops include practice sessions such as correct appreciation of employees and the power of positive feedback.
